You can also use them to align images and create captions for them that will never move. These are fairly simple tasks that you can easily accomplish if you read the 2 previous articles. To place a caption on an image all you have to do is place it inside a table and create a new row to put the caption in. click here to view a demonstration and its source. You may have seen pages while browsing the Internet that are that are divided into 2 columns in the background. Those can be made with either tables or frames. Frames are not quite as backwards compatible as tables so many people use tables. To do this you first separate your page into two columns the columns need to be about 10 pixels or more apart to allow for space between the two columns so your text doesn’t run into your images. To see a working demonstration Click Here. You can also divide your in many sections to make sections to make your images connect. Be carefull with this method though it can be frustrating. You can view an working demo of this Here. Experiment with your tables until you feel confident about making them. That is when they will really start to work out the best for you. Also when you design your tables it is always good to check them in both Netscape and IE.
